INTRODUCTION

- challenged my sensibilities as an architect. In my first years in practice, residences were laboratories of investigation in working with the sun, rain and breezes. Indeed, before the general use of air conditioning became widespread, designing for comfort was a primary goal. I became very aware of the
- notion of place both at the macro as well as micro scale. That exploration of a specific architecture for its context has continued through today, although as lifestyles change, so does
the architecture.
All of my work belongs to a specific generation, expressing
